Red76 is the moniker for collaborative projects conceived by Portland-based artist Sam Gould and fleshed out by a group of like minded folks. Red76 has initiated projects, large and small, that facilitate discussion, thought, and action within public spaces. Join Gould and special musical guests Climax Golden Twins for an evening of talk, drink, and music that examines what that public space can be and where it may reside, including discussion of Gould’s current project at the ICA in Philadelphia. Red76 has exhibited initiatives with the Drawing Center (NY), The Kitchen (NY), Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (SF), ACC Weimar (Germany), and Dinamo (Hungary) among others. Sam Gould is a member of MessHall, a critical community hall in Chicago, and edits the publication “.......” whose 2nd issue will appear with the help of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in 2007. |
